About
A Birth Story
As a mother and birth worker I am dedicated to supporting families through vulnerable transitions and educating the professionals who care for them. A massage therapist for 25 years, my work has been transformed by more than 15 years of holding space for birthing families as a doula, birth nurse and perinatal educator. In the years I spent as perinatal massage therapist in a center for birth and family I found many people carried fear, confusion and disconnect from their care teams and their own bodies as they navigated the prenatal, birth and postpartum journey. Those stories inspired my journey as a doula and labor and delivery nurse. Now guided by thousands of hours caring for birthing families, combined with training in spinning babies, perinatal yoga and trauma informed care I am honored to combine my clinical learnings with supportive intuitive care in the community that raised me. Together we'll create space and connection, preparing and honoring the body with intention and intuition in support of the sacred transition of birth and parenthood.
